This 170 day course focuses on introducing students to the agriculture industry. Students will be introduced to FFA and the many opportunities available in this organization, including CDEs/LDEs and SAEs. Students will also learn about record keeping and how to track their SAE in AET. Students will be immersed into food science, biotechnology, animal science, plant science, natural resources and woodworking through engaging lessons, activities and labs focusing on a high engagement, low lecture style of teaching.

This comprehensive curriculum is designed to have every minute of every lesson planned for you. Lessons contain all of the resources necessary to successfully deliver this engaging curriculum. Through detailed Instructor Guides, teachers will feel comfortable, no matter their experience, in teaching this course. Instructor Guides include material lists, a time breakdown for each lesson designed to fill a 45 minute class period, national AFNR standards, instructor pre-work, and an explanation of each component of the lessons, including reflection and conclusion questions/answers. Instructor Resources include all handouts, visuals, keys and slides teachers need to facilitate learning in the classroom. Lessons also include a Student Handout to allow students to further engage in the lessons.
