This 5 day unit from the Introduction to AFNR Course focuses on introducing your students to the main concepts of agriculture. Students will define agriculture and will discover careers in agriculture. Students will connect those careers to the food production industry and commodities.

Lessons contain all of the resources necessary to successfully deliver the curriculum. Through detailed Instructor Guides, teachers will feel comfortable, no matter their experience, in teaching this unit. Instructor Guides include material lists, time breakdown for the lesson, national standards, instructor pre-work, and an explanation of each component of the lesson, including reflection and conclusion questions/answers.
