This 5-day unit from the Agricultural Mechanics Course (coming soon) focuses on introducing your students to careers in the agricultural mechanics pathway. Students will learn to identify safety colors, personal protective equipment, and fire classes. In addition, students will learn to use safety data sheets and fire extinguishers.

This comprehensive curriculum is designed to have every minute of every lesson planned for you. Lessons contain all of the resources necessary to successfully deliver this engaging curriculum. Through detailed Instructor Guides, teachers will feel comfortable, no matter their experience, in teaching this course. Instructor Guides include material lists, a time breakdown for each lesson designed to fill a 45 minute class period, national AFNR standards, instructor pre-work, and an explanation of each component of the lessons, including reflection and conclusion questions/answers. Instructor Resources include all handouts, visuals, keys and slides teachers need to facilitate learning in the classroom. Lessons also include a Student Handout to allow students to further engage in the lessons.
